Arrive early at shows with limited seating. We expect a lot of people to come, so we ask you to please be patient and apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
Please use the car parks marked on the map, and walk or take the bus into the town centre.
We invite you to dress up in period costume, come out onto the street and take part in all the activities.
Have an early lunch. The restaurants taking part in the Have a Festive Feast campaign are open to the public from 1 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.
Use the free bus service. Due to the needs of the festival, the old part of the town and some streets in the centre will be closed to traffic from 6 p.m. onwards, so we are putting on a free bus service to the festival's main venues.
