The participation of the townspeople has definitely been the most significant factor in the success of the Renaissance Festival. The festival has been taken to heart by all kinds of people in Tortosa, who have got involved in a private and public capacity, taking part in Tortosa's groups and organisations.

More than 3000 costumes have been made in the town, to allow people to take part in the Renaissance Festival's various events, or simply to stroll through the town while the festival is on, playing the role of 16th-century people.

The festival has also been made possible by the work of our volunteers: the young and old who selflessly commit themselves, their skills and part of their free time to working for the Renaissance Festival. These people are indispensable, lively, important, reliable, participative, friendly and responsible... without them we would not be able to hold the festival.
